Nissan has suspended deliveries of the new Pathfinder to Russia. Plant in St. Petersburg allows production shutdown

According to Avtostat, Nissan has suspended deliveries of the Nissan Pathfinder SUV to Russia until the situation is clarified. Sales of the new generation Pathfinder, which is supplied to our country from the US Nissan plant, began in mid-February, and the Russians ordered more than 150 cars.

The Nissan plant in St. Petersburg, where the Nissan Qashqai, X-Trail and Murano crossovers are produced, continues to work today, but the company does not rule out the suspension of production due to delays in the supply of components. Recall that in November last year, the company switched to a two-shift mode of operation, which allowed to increase production by 20%. To date, the number of employees of the plant is about 2000 people.
