We have made the decision to stop selling our games and content, including virtual currency, in Russia and Belarus while this conflict continues. As a result, our games and content will no longer be available for purchase in our Russian region store on Origin or the EA app, including in-game stores. We are also working with our platform partners to remove our games from their stores and stop selling new in-game content in the region.”, — stated in the message of Electronic Arts. Activision Blizzard is also suspending the sale of games in Russia. As the company’s president and chief operating officer, Daniel Alegre, tweeted on March 5, “Today we announce the suspension of sales of new games and in-game content in Russia“. Activision Blizzard is the publisher of popular game franchises such as Diablo, Call of Duty and World of Warcraft.

However, it should be noted that the suspension of sales of games does not mean at all that it will not be possible to play previously purchased games.
