“No one needs billions”, says Anitta when suggesting limiting fortunes

The singer Anita , 31, advocated creating a law to limit the amount of wealth a person can accumulate and suggested donating to social causes. The speech was made during an interview during the funk singer’s visit to the United States.

Currently, Anitta performs a series of shows in the American country, which is part of her first international tour.

In conversation on the podcast On Purpose with Jay Shetty, the singer stated that, after a certain amount reached by each person, the money should be donated and invested in projects that benefit society. “I would create a limit on the amount of money that each person could have. You can have it up to here. From here you will have to donate,” she suggested.

“I understand that money comes to those who work hard, who make an effort, but beyond that ceiling, you don’t need more. No one needs to have that much. You need to share,” said the singer.

“If you want to build a school, cool. If you want to protect the Amazon, cool. Nobody needs billions, I’m talking about necessity,” she continued.

After visiting the United States, the singer will head to South America and Europe.
