No redemption for Eric Menendez – stays in prison 35 years after double murder

Eric Menendez was rejected for conditional release, three decades after the murder of his parents in Los Angeles. Eric Menendez, the youngest of the infamous Menendez brothers, convicted of the carbine murders of their wealthy parents in Beverly Hills in 1989, appeared on Thursday morning for the first time before the California Release Committee. His brother, Layle, is scheduled to be presented today, Friday, at his own hearing. Both became eligible for conditional release after being re -established by a judge in May. According to the BBC, the Commission has decided that Eric would be able to apply for a new request in three years.
