Xiaomi has announced the addition of support for 11 more third-party apps, which include audiobooks, music streaming, third-party health trackers, and calendars. The company said it wants to provide the convenience of using the watch without having to take the smartphone out of your pocket.

The poster posted by Xiaomi shows some well-known apps in the Chinese market supported on the Xiaomi Watch S1, such as Lanren audiobooks (Chinese alternative to Audible from Amazon), Wangyi Music Streaming (Chinese alternative to Spotify), Wannianli Calendar (calendar app) and Mint Health (a health tracking app similar to Mi Fitness). There are also apps for navigation and food delivery.

The body of the device is made of stainless steel, the watch received a round 1.43-inch AMOLED screen, which is covered with sapphire glass with a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale. The device is available with a leather strap in blue and brown, or with a silicone black strap. Xiaomi Watch S1 supports 117 sports modes and allows you to make calls via Bluetooth when you have a smartphone nearby. There is a built-in heart rate sensor, a function for determining the level of oxygen in the blood, monitoring the quality of sleep. The device is protected from moisture ingress (5 ATM).
