Maria Astrid del Liechtenstein, the princess daughter of Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein, e Lady Charlotte, the Scottish noble, the youngest daughter of the sixteenth Earl of Lindsay, have chosen Italy to say yes. They did it in a dream location and wearing fairytale clothes …
Maria Astrid and Ralph Worthington became a wife and husband in Tuscany, more precisely in Orbetello, where the function was celebrated in the town’s cathedral, the cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. Here, the princess arrived sporting her beautiful white dress with a train so large that it took 4 people to set it up in front of the churchyard.
A true modern princess dress, far from the usual cliché-favor. What details did we like the most? The boat neckline that goes down to V, the three-quarter sleeves but above all the thick fabric and delicately embroidered with tone-on-tone foliage motifs. And then, could not miss, the 19th century family tiara made with honeysuckle motifs in diamonds, silver and gold that held the lace framed veil.
Also Lady Charlotte, whom he married Prince Don Jaime of Bourbon in Sicily in the Cathedral of Monreale, on the outskirts of Palermo, he wore the inevitable tiara. His was of diamonds and pearls, it belonged all’arciduchessa María Ana d’Austria.
And the dress? Romantic, with a heart-shaped bustier hidden by a high-necked bodice and long lace sleeves reminiscent of the one worn by Grace Kelly for her wedding to Ranieri of Monaco.
Lady Charlotte completed her wedding dress with a long wide skirt in smooth fabric. Simple and very elegant.
