Xiaomi today released new details about the Mi 11 Ultra smartphone, and they look very interesting. As it turned out, the flagship of the Mi 11 line received a completely new cooling system, which has not yet been used in any other smartphone. Its use will allow better cooling of the Snapdragon 888 and, therefore, Mi 11 Ultra will be able to demonstrate better performance in comparison with other flagships on the same SoC.

Xiaomi says that in the cooling subsystem of the Mi 11 Ultra, the technology of heat removal with a full phase change is used for the first time – that is, with all three states of aggregation: solid, liquid and gaseous.
The slightly more detailed description that accompanies the disassembled teaser of the Mi 11 Ultra talks about a new phase change organic hydrocarbon material that turns into a solid after heat absorption and improves thermal conductivity by up to 100%. This material is connected to the evaporation chamber like a sandwich, due to which a heat dissipation system is formed with a three-stage change in the state of “solid-liquid-gas”. It quickly transfers and removes heat, and in its parameters surpasses conventional systems based on a heat pipe, supplemented by one or a pair of layers of graphite material.

In a recent interview, the head of Xiaomi Lei Jun said that the Mi 11 Ultra produces a smooth picture in the game Yuan Shen of local developer Mihayou. But the fact is that not all even flagship models can handle this game – but it works well on the iPad Pro. Thus, Xiaomi believes that the performance of the Mi 11 Ultra is no worse than that of the iPad Pro – and this is, naturally, a flattering comparison. Of course, the new cooling system allowed the Snapdragon 888 to improve its performance.

In general, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is becoming more attractive every day. Earlier we already wrote that he received one of the largest sensors in the industry in the optical format 1 / 1.12 inches, then there was data on a completely new battery with a silicon-oxygen anode, and now – a breakthrough (at least, so it presented in the company itself) the cooling system. At this rate, the Mi 11 Ultra may turn out to be the most technologically advanced flagship on the Snapdragon 888.
