“Nobody Wants” will have a 2nd season, but with new writers

The romantic comedy “Nobody Wants ” was renewed for a second season this Thursday (10) by Netflix. However, the production will feature new writers .

Now, the series starring Adam Brody (“The OC”) and Kristen Bell (“Veronica Mars”) will have scripts by Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan both from the HBO series “Girls”. Erin Foster, who created the series, will return for a second year, but only as executive producer.

The series follows Joanne (Bell), an agnostic podcast host, and Noah (Brody), an unconventional rabbi. In the plot, they meet at a party, leave together and, despite their differences, realize that they can get along very well, but also very badly, because each one has a different way of looking at life.

In a previous interview, Erin Foster, who based the series on her own life, told fans what they could expect from the second season. “I’d like to just pick up where we left off and keep taking it slow, because I don’t want us to get too ahead of ourselves. I mean, I want my show to stay on air for as long as possible.”

A success for Netflix, the series even appeared on the list of the most popular productions on the platform. The second season of “Ninguém Quer” does not yet have a premiere date, but should be released in 2025.
