In the near future, Noctua plans to release the first Redux processor cooling system, aimed at economical consumers. The manufacturer has already published an image showing a fragment of it. The commentary to the image says it is “a proven processor cooler, limited to the bare essentials.”
Judging by the commentary, the basis of the novelty was an existing product. The popular NH-U12 cooling system was probably the starting point for the design. The illustration shows that the new cooling system will come with gray Redux fans, rather than the more expensive brown and beige fans familiar to all Noctua fans.
