Noctua introduced the first redux processor cooling system. As you know, the manufacturer includes popular fan models in a simplified version in the redux line. The manufacturer announced its intention to release the first redux processor cooling system in the second half of February. Then he published a snippet of her image, promising that it would be “a proven processor cooler, limited to the bare essentials.” And so it turned out. The NH-U12S model, produced since 2013, was chosen as the initial model. By the way, the first redux fan was released in the same year.

Inheriting much from the original model, the NH-U12S redux features a fan. The dimensions of the product remained the same – 158 x 125 x 71 mm, but the weight became less – 755 g versus 775 g. The copper base and four copper heat pipes passed through it are nickel-plated. A radiator in the form of a block of aluminum plates is fixed to the tubes. The radiator is equipped with an NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM fan, the rotation speed of which is regulated by PWM within the range of 450-1700 rpm (the fan of the original model had an adjustment range of 300-1500 rpm). The maximum speed corresponds to a capacity of 120.2 m3 / h and a noise level of 25.1 dBA.
SecuFirm2 is compatible with Intel LGA 2066, LGA 2011, LGA 2011-3, LGA 1200, LGA 115x and AMD AM4 processor sockets. The heat-dissipating base is pre-coated with NT-H1 thermal paste.
Optionally, you can increase the performance of the NH-U12S redux by using the NA-FK1 kit, which includes a second NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM fan, clips and anti-vibration pads, Y-shaped cable and adapters to reduce noise by limiting the maximum rotational speed.

The NH-U12S redux processor cooling system costs 49.9 euros, the NA-FK1 kit costs 16.9 euros. Sales have already started.
