HMD Global has announced that last year’s Nokia 2.4 smartphone has begun receiving an update to Android 11 in all regions of the world.
Android 11 brings new features like tooltips, app permissions to allow one-time access to apps, native screen recorder, dark theme, notification history, and more.
According to the Android 11 distribution plan released by the manufacturer, the update for the Nokia 2.4 smartphone was originally planned to be released in the first quarter of the year, but there were delays in the testing process.
The Nokia 2.4 features a 6.5-inch HD + waterdrop notch display that houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera. It is based on the Helio P22 SoC and is available with 2/3 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of flash memory.
On the back of the phone there are two cameras with a resolution of 13 and 2 megapixels. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, FM radio, and a 4,500mAh battery that is charged via a MicroUSB port.
