Nokia introduced a clamshell phone with Google services – more RAM than some smartphones

Nokia continues to release feature phones – a cross between modern smartphones and conventional cell phones. In this segment, something rarely goes beyond the standard, but the new Nokia 2780 Flip turned out to be quite unusual.

The novelty is made in a clamshell form factor and is equipped with two displays: the main internal 2.7 inches and an additional external 1.77 inches. Attention is drawn to the KaiOS 3.1 operating system, thanks to which the feature phone received some Google services, including YouTube and Google Maps. The Nokia 2780 Flip uses a typical Qualcomm 215 processor for this segment, but at the same time as much as 4 GB of RAM – now not all budget smartphones are equipped with this amount of RAM.

Nokia 2780 Flip is very similar to 2760 Flip – the key innovation is the introduction of FM radio. The novelty will go on sale on November 15, the price in the US is $90.
