Nokia remains loyal to Android: the company has denied rumors of the transition to HarmonyOS

Recently, rumors appeared on the network that Nokia is going to release a series of Nokia X60 smartphones in the second half of this year. And it seems that this is not surprising, if not for one caveat – the upcoming devices should run on the HarmonyOS operating system from Huawei. Today, July 1, Nokia issued an official announcement in which it denies these rumors, declaring its commitment to the Android platform.

“Our position to offer the best Android products remains unchanged,” Nokia said in a statement.

According to some media reports, the Nokia X60 series of smartphones will include two models, which (now for sure) will run on the latest version of the Android operating system. It is assumed that Nokia X60 will become the flagship of the line of mobile devices of the Finnish brand, it will receive a large display with curved edges and a battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh. The future novelty is also credited with a 200-megapixel main camera sensor and other top-end characteristics.
