Non-manufacturing PMI rises to 8-year highs at 56.4

The China’s manufacturing PMI has risen to 52.1 points in November, surpassing the 51.4 in October and the 51.5 expected. This is the best result obtained by the indicator since September 2017, reflecting the strength of the country’s economic recovery after the months when the pandemic shook the Chinese economy.

The Non-manufacturing PMI, which includes the index of purchasing managers in the services sector, strengthened to 56.4 from 56.2 in the previous month, improving the 52.1 points estimated by the market. The November figure is the highest recorded in eight years, specifically since July 2012.
