The Kremlin comes back by repeating them again accusations against the UK that it is “responsible for the explosions” in the pipelines Nord Stream 1 and 2 in the Baltic Sea while also warning of “further steps”.
“Our Intelligence services have evidence that the attack was directed and coordinated by British military specialists” said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who added that Moscow has not made a decision on whether to repair Russian gas pipelines that carried Russian gas to Europe.
About the Russian conscriptionPeskov, as reported by the Athens News Agency, pointed out that there is no need to issue a decree to end the first military conscription in Russia since World War II.
Vladimir Putin said last week that Russia had drafted 300,000 people and had completed what Russian authorities called “partial mobilization” for the war in Ukraine.
But the fact that the Kremlin has not revoked the relevant decree or issued a new one canceling the previous one has raised concerns that it will leave the door open for subsequent waves of conscription.
