The North and Northeast regions should have heavy rains throughout the week, according to Climatempo meteorologist Maria Clara Sassaki.
In Acre, more than 32,000 people were affected by the floods of the Acre River and Igarapés.
“We have the intensification of rains due to the intertropical convergence zone, which combines heat with a lot of humidity”, he said, to CNN Radio.
According to the forecast, “the entire far north, including Acre, Amazonas, Pará, Maranhão, Piauí and Ceará should have storms until at least the next weekend.”
According to Sassaki, this autumn season has more precipitation in the Northeast and North: “Climate neutrality also favors conditions of significant rainfall.”
In the Southeast, the cold front will dissipate until Tuesday (28), and there will be a return of isolated showers in the late afternoon, with high temperatures, similar to what is expected for the Midwest.
In the South, as of Tuesday, there is a chance of rain in all states, in the late afternoon and of short duration, “which can be of strong intensity.”
