Northern Macedonia: Arben Taravari’s Albanian party withdraws from the government

The Albanian Party “Alliance for the Albanians”, led by Northern Macedonia Health Minister Arben Taravari, announced Monday night his departure from the government coalition under the leadership of Prime Minister Christian Mitskoski. Taravari proposed to the party bodies the departure from the government of the two ministers representing his gum in it (health and good governance), his two deputy ministers and the governors of public organizations coming from the “alliance for the Albanians”. His proposal was unanimously accepted and in the coming days the resignations of his executives are expected. Last month, the “Alliance for the Albanians” left the Albanian Coalition Vlen (deserved) involved in the country’s government. Taravari’s party was the largest of this Albanian coalition.
