The Norwegian government has announced today that it will offer Ukraine anti -aircraft defense systems of nearly 7 billion Norwegian crowns (about 590m euros). “Together with Germany we now ensure that Ukraine will receive strong anti -aircraft systems,” Norwegian Prime Minister Yonas Gar Strere said. “Germany and Norway are working together very closely to support Ukraine in its battle to defend the country and protect the civilian population from Russian air strikes,” he added. The two countries fund two Patriot anti -aircraft defense systems, including rockets.
