ZTE has revealed new details about its flagship smartphone ZTE Axon 40 Ultra, which will be launched on May 9 in China along with the standard ZTE Axon 40 model.
The manufacturer has confirmed that the main camera of the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is equipped with three 64-megapixel image sensors. It is also officially announced that the camera will receive a standard wide-angle module, a custom-made ultra-wide-angle camera, as well as a telephoto lens with a periscope. All three cameras are capable of shooting 8K video.
Insiders report that the main camera will receive a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 image sensor with support for optical image stabilization. It is accompanied by a 64-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a Sony IMX787 sensor and a periscope telephoto lens with an OmniVision OV64GB sensor and support for optical image stabilization.
The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra will be the flagship smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The company also revealed that the device features an OLED panel with heavily curved edges and an under-display camera for taking selfies.
