OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei launched Nothing last year and released his first product, which turned out to be wireless headphones. This summer will be the first phone company Nothing, which will receive the operating system Nothing OS.
Nothing OS will be based on Android, and last month Nothing announced that the first preview version of Nothing OS would be available for download on select smartphones in April via the Nothing Launcher beta. Journalists got the opportunity to test Nothing Launcher on Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 6 smartphones.
Some features and functionality of Nothing Phone (1) will be available for phones that have the Nothing Launcher downloaded. So far, the list of devices that support Nothing Launcher does not include OnePlus phones. But the developers have confirmed that support for Nothing Launcher for OnePlus is coming “soon.”
Nothing Launcher is a pre-beta version of Nothing OS. Try Android paired with our iconic design language. Unique features include max icons and max folders, as well as special weather and clock widgets.
Nothing
Nothing OS received unique wallpapers, clock and weather widgets, and ringtones. You can download Nothing Launcher on Google Play, but only for the aforementioned devices. After installing the app, you need to go to Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Default Home App.
