Nvidia has updated its GeForce Now cloud gaming service with Apple M1 SoC support for the official app.
Now on Macs with M1, you can also run GeForce Now, but only through a browser. Nvidia has always said that a native app is the best use case for the service. In particular, the company is now talking about lower power consumption when starting in this mode, faster software startup and overall improved performance. Judging by the wording, it is the base SoC M1 that is meant, but not the older platforms of the line.
Nvidia also added 14 new games to the service at once:
- Dune Spice Wars
- Holomento
- Prehistoric Kingdom
- Romans: Age of Caesar
- Sea of Craft
- Trigon: Space Story
- Vampire: The Masquerade-Bloodhunt
- Conan Exiles
- Crawl
- Flashing Lights – Police, Firefighting, Emergency Services Simulator
- Galactic Civilizations II: Ultimate Edition
- Jupiter Hell
- Lost Ark
- SOL CRESTA
