Nunes gathers videos of complaints sent to the president of Enel

The mayor of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes (MDB), brought together a series of videos and messages of complaints that he sent directly to the president of Enel, Max Xavier Lins, in recent months.

There are complaints about lack of electricity connection in daycare centers, housing complexes, trees that cannot be removed or potholes in the street that cannot be closed due to lack of power shutoff. Messages begin in May.

A CNN had access to part of this material, which was presented by the mayor during a meeting with the directors of the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel).

The material will be used as justification for the city council’s request to remove Enel from the city and not just the prolonged lack of electricity caused by the most recent storm.

According to the CNN despite political pressure, the city hall cannot file a legal request for Enel’s departure, but only an informal request, because the concession is federal.

At the meeting that took place last Monday (13), Aneel committed to being strict with the company
