A couple’s quarrel ended in tragedy that took place last night around 8 pm in a house in the historic center of Nuvolento, in the province of Brescia. Raphael Ragnolia 56-year-old housewife, killed her husband Romano Fagoni by stabbing him in the throat after a heated argument during dinner time, all before the eyes of his 15-year-old son.
It was the young man who called for help, but for his 59-year-old father, an unemployed worker, there was nothing they could do.
The couple was completely unknown to the police and there would be no previous complaints of quarrels or ill-treatment.
From the first testimonies collected would have emerged economic difficultiesas well as the need to care for the victim’s elderly mother. The couple also has another daughter, now of age, who currently no longer lives in the home of her family of origin.
Listened to by the investigators during the night, after being arrested at the request of the public prosecutor on charges of voluntary homicide, Raffaella Ragnoli would have referred to a very difficult family climatefueled by constant quarrels.\
