NVIDIA has released Canvas, a new AI-powered application that turns rough sketches into believable paintings. The program itself looks more like Paint than any more complex graphic editor, and this is its advantage – it is extremely easy to draw a picture.
NVIDIA Canvas works as follows: the user just needs to select the type of object to be drawn on the toolbar (water, cloud, grass, rock, and the like), and then draw with a simple brush the place on the canvas where this object should be located – after that the neural network almost instantly displays the result in the adjacent image, converting the sketchy doodles into a painting.
The new utility from NVIDIA is now in beta and is available for free to all Windows 10 users with GeForce RTX, NVIDIA RTX, Quadro RTX and Titan RTX series graphics cards.
In the past, NVIDIA has already released a demo version of this tool, which was available to everyone directly in the browser.
