This solution will be a new graphics processor GA106-302 instead of GA106-300, on the basis of which the current GeForce RTX 3060 is built. The “modified” version of the video card will receive a new PCI device identifier and “other mechanisms” of protection against mining, and, of course, the device will work with a new driver. GA106-302 is due out in May. A very important point is that for Nvidia, the current GPU and the promising new one are exactly the same. That is, the company will not additionally announce the transition from GA106-300 to GA106-302.
