Nvidia won a lawsuit this week against a group of investors. The group accused the manufacturer of misleading them by reporting the revenues associated with the rise in popularity of cryptocurrency as proceeds from the success in the gaming graphics card market. The lawsuit argued that because of this, the company’s earnings from the popularity of games appeared to be much larger than it actually was.

The original lawsuit was filed back in 2017. It contained a requirement to pay investors $ 1 billion.
On Tuesday, US District Court Judge Haywood Gilliam dismissed the claim and ruled that investors were unable to provide any substantial evidence that the company used the above practice and misled investors.
