Next weekend, December 4-5, 2021, the Innovation Marathon “be a part of hack OAED crowdhackathon” will take place for the digital transformation of OAED, at Innovathens (Piraeus 100, Gazi). The event organized by OAED, in collaboration with the innovation and technology company Crowdpolicy, will take place hybrid, with a physical presence and online. The Innovation Marathon is a technological action of open innovation and aims to activate organizations and companies (community activation) to create original applications that promote the digital transformation of OAED, through new and innovative ideas and applications with social impact. Its main objectives are to create a culture of innovation and collaboration, to support young and innovative entrepreneurship and to fight unemployment, as well as to come up with smart and innovative solutions to the challenges posed by applications related to employment and unemployment.
The action can be attended by programmers, analysts, students, economists, startup companies and in general all those who have an idea regarding the application of new technologies in the fields of activity of OAED and are interested in developing it and presenting it in a pilot application. Indicative thematic areas of the marathon are the fight against unemployment, the combination of supply and demand in the labor market, vocational education and training, new entrepreneurship and the upgrading of procedures to better serve citizens and businesses. The Innovation Marathon includes 3 stages:
– Public recording, collection of ideas and problems to solve and capture needs that can be supported by innovative digital applications
– Organization of the marathon
– Awarding the applications that will be distinguished, cooperation with all participating organizations and support for their productive implementation.
Cash prizes are provided for the teams that will be distinguished, while for all participants there will be opportunities for networking and cooperation with OAED and other interested parties.
Anyone interested, developer teams, startup companies and public and private sector organizations can participate in the following ways:
