Aiming at the fastest possible employment or reintegration of the unemployed and finding the appropriate staff that companies are looking for, OAED systematically develops and expands its partnerships and actions for the effective coupling of supply and demand in the labor market.

As OAED Commander Spyros Protopsaltis points out, “MEMME was created in 2014 as a Large Business Unit, but, after a period of reduced activity, was re-established, renamed and strengthened in the spring of 2021, as its staff expanded and developed new tools, utilized new methods for approaching and serving the country’s businesses with a staff of more than 50. The unit is supported by specialized management and the network of about 400 job consultants in the 117 Employment Promotion Centers (KPA2) of OAED throughout the country and offers organized mediation and pre-selection of staff, such as career days and targeted interviews, while it publishes jobs on the OAED website, with the possibility of submitting a CV directly to the e-mail [email protected] “.

The task of MEMME is to undertake actions to find staff by implementing pre-selection plans and with the main goal of recruitment, through a mediation process, which is designed and implemented specifically and individually for each company that seeks its services.

Specifically, it provides:

– Detailed recording of vacancies of the company, such as specialties and required qualifications, by a specialized employment consultant of employers.

Investigate suitable candidates through the network of job seekers.

– Pre-selection of candidates, through analysis of CVs and conducting personal interviews.

– Continuous information, sending pre-selected CVs and cooperation with the competent human resources department of the companies.

– Organization of “Career Days” that offer the possibility of live communication and interview with a large number of candidates.

– Monitoring of final selections and recruitments, data exchange and evaluation / reporting of the process.
