Oasis: 1 day after announcing return to the stage, band denies that they will play at festivals

One day after announcing their return to the stage, the band Oasis assured that they will not perform at music festivals. In a post shared on social media, the group denied rumors that they will perform at Glastonbury Festival in 2025.

“The only way to see the band perform will be during the ‘Oasis Live ’25 World Tour’,” they added in an excerpt.

With the new tour announced, the group will pass through Cardiff (Wales), Manchester (England), London (England), Edinburgh (Scotland) and Dublin (Ireland) in 2025, with a total of 14 performances, but stated that there are also “plans in progress” for shows outside Europe.

The first tickets will go on sale in the UK at 9am (local time) and in Ireland at 8am (local time) next Saturday (31).

The 2025 tour will mark the 30th anniversary of the band’s second album, “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?”, which included the hits “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”

The band, which debuted in 1994 with “Definitely Maybe,” split in 2009 when guitarist and main songwriter Noel Gallagher said he could no longer work with Liam, lead singer, and his brother, following a series of disagreements between the two.
