Obama, Bush, Clinton, Carter with their wives in vaccination campaign ads

Former US President Barack Obama, George Walker Bush, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter will star in two new social media advertisements for COVID-19 vaccination along with former First Ladies Michelle Obama, Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton and Rosalyn Carter, announced today the non-profit organization Ad Council, reports APE.

“Science is clear. “These vaccines will protect you and those you love from this dangerous and deadly disease,” said the former president. Bush in one of these social media ads, while Obama and Clinton urge Americans to get vaccinated against the disease caused by the new coronavirus.

“This is the first step in ending the pandemic and moving our country forward,” he said Obama.

The absence of these vaccination promotions, created by the non-profit organization Ad Council, the former president, is noticeable. Donald Trump and the former first lady Trump Inks. During his re-election campaign in last year’s presidential election, Trump widely voiced his administration’s role in marketing a COVID-19 vaccine.

Asked about Trump’s absence, an Ad Council spokesman said one of the messages was videotaped at the inauguration of President Joe Biden in January, which Trump did not attend.

The spokesman also praised the Ad Council for Trump’s recent urging the Americans to “go get your vaccine” after he was given the vaccine.

These new publicity stamps are part of the Ad Advocacy Vaccine Information Campaign entitled “It’s Up to You”. More than 300 partners are supporting the nonprofit in its efforts to combat vaccine safety reluctance and help persuade more people to do so.

A second advertising message shows each of the former presidents and first ladies wearing masks and being given a dose of the vaccine.

“It’s up to you now,” Carter said in the ad.
