Ocean’s Eleven, Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie are about to start filming the remake

Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling team up again for Ocean’s Eleven. The two have just finished shooting the film together Barbie signed by Greta Gerwig, in theaters on 21 July: she lends her face to the famous Mattel doll and he to her Ken, in a neon world full of joy.

The heist saga began in cinemas with Frank Sinatra just in the role of Danny Ocean (in Italian the title is Big shot) and was revived by George Clooney (who inherited the role) and Brad Pitt (his partner in crime in the organization of an unprecedented heist against the Las Vegas casinos). This adaptation has become a very successful all-star trilogy with a cast that also includes Julia Roberts, Al Pacino and Matt Damon, with stops also around the world, including Rome.

Hollywood wanted to ride the wave of success with a female version, Ocean’s 8, which sees at the head of the gang Sandra Bullock (in the role of Debbie, Danny’s little sister) and Cate Blanchett (companion in many scams always well established): the team also included Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter, but did not lead to the box office the expected results. data in hand, Ocean’s Eleven grossed over 450 million, while Ocean’s Eight didn’t touch 300disappointing expectations and therefore deleting any possible hypothesis of other sequels.

The new version with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling is placed between the first film and Steven Soderbergh’s version: in short, a sort of remake that promises to combine the best of both. Probably the expected arrival in theaters is around the summer of 2024 for the direction of Jay Roach, already behind the camera of Bombshell (also in that case Margot Robbie was in the cast).

Margot Robbie’s schedule is packed. On January 19th she will be at the cinema with Babylon alongside Brad Pitt directed by Damien Chazelle (who directed Ryan Gosling in La La Land), shortly after the arrival in the hall of Amsterdam alongside Christian Bale. You shot the new Wes Anderson movie, Asteroid City, with Edward Norton and Scarlett Johansson and then move on to the set of Barbie where he worked with Ryan Gosling. From her side, the actor animated Netflix’s last summer with The Gray Man and will be released in theaters in 2024 with The Fall Guy alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Meanwhile, the project is being developed Hail Mary which should see him in the role of an astronaut.

This couple – it must be said – really promises sparks.
