An eight-fold murder took place in Honduras when unknown gunmen shot six men, a woman and a child while they were in a car. “They died instantly,” Honduran police spokesman Edgardo Baraona said.
The attack took place in the El Portillo de la Mora region, about 70 kilometers north of the capital Tegucigalpa. “We hypothesize that (the murders) due to a conflict over land» between families, said to local media the representative of the Police in the province of Comayagua, Norman Velasquez.
