A military police officer killed a suspect in an attempted robbery and also hit a teenager, the man’s victim, on Saturday (7) in Duque de Caxias (RJ), about 25 kilometers from the capital of Rio de Janeiro.
According to the Military Police (PM), the agent was off duty. From inside his car, he saw the suspect’s attempt to rob the teenager and reacted. The agent fired a firearm.
“The suspect did not survive his injuries and the teenager was rescued,” said the PM in a statement.
According to the Civil Police, “the investigation is underway at the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station to clarify the dynamics of the facts.”
