US President Donald Trump said today that it has given a new extension to the Chinese company byTedance to sell Tiktok, suspending 90 days the ban on the popular US platform. “I have just signed an executive decree extending the deadline for the closure of Tiktok by 90 days,” on September 17th, he wrote in a post on the Truth Social platform. The US president has already suspended twice the implementation of the law that has imposed the sale or prohibition of Tiktok in the United States, as the initial deadline expired in January. Trump has stated that he wants to continue the operation of the Tiktok platform, which has helped him to attract young voters to the 2024 presidential election.
