the president of United States , Joe Biden summoned the heads of state for the photo at the end of the Summit of the Americas , in Los Angeles, this Friday (10). The Brazilian representative, Jair Bolsonaro (PL), appears in the official photograph of the event between the presidents of Colombia, Iván Duque, and Argentina, Alberto Fernández. The registration was made at the end of the meeting, which started on Monday (6).
Before the official registration of the presidents present, Biden informed that the 20 countries of America will sign a declaration on migration and protection.
“This document makes all our nations work together, in partnership, to deal with the issue of migration”, he announced.
On his official Twitter profile, Biden posted two photos of the meetings he had on Thursday (9) at the Summit. One with Canadian President Justin Trudeau and another from his conversation with Bolsonaro.
“We are working together to build a better future for the countries of the West,” wrote the president’s profile in the caption of the images.

Bolsonaro’s agenda during event
On Thursday (10), the president had a bilateral meeting with his namesake in the US. During the roughly 20-minute meeting, Bolsonaro alleged to Biden that he feels Brazil’s sovereignty is threatened in the amazon and that the country knows how to preserve the forest.
The leaders also talked about the war in Ukraine and Brazil’s entry into the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) .
This Friday morning, Bolsonaro took the stage of the event to speak on behalf of Brazil and spoke again about the Amazon. In his speech, the chief executive defended the actions of the federal government to preserve the forest and stated that Brazil and the world suffer from a “clear attack on individual freedoms”.
