The General Manager of the World Health Organization (WHO) emphasized Monday that al -Amal Hospital in the Gaza Strip has been “essentially out of service” due to “increasing hostilities” in the area where it is located. “Access to the hospital is prevented, not allowing young patients to take care and leading to more deaths that could have been avoided,” Tedros Antanom Gedesos said via X. “Patients who need treatment are still in the hospital but do not accept new ones,” he added.
