Soon, Google Assistant will respond to certain phrases without requiring you to say the familiar “Ok Google” (or Hey Google) phrase after waking up the voice assistant.
According to XDA-Developers, Quick Phrases have already become available on Google Pixel 3 XL smartphones with Android 12 beta installed and Google app version 12.39.17.29.

Quick phrases must be activated in the Google Assistant settings. Once enabled, the Google Assistant will listen to specific phrases based on context. For example, if the alarm goes off, the Personal Assistant will wait for the Stop or Snooze command without requiring the user to say “Ok Google”. An incoming call can be answered simply by saying “Answer”, or you can reject the call by saying “Decline”.
Back in September, 9to5Google published a list of quick phrases. It includes commands such as “Cancel alarm”, “Send broadcast”, “What is the weather now?” Further.
The final version of Android 12, which was released this week, will be available on various smartphones soon.
