Google has transformed Google Pay from a simple “payment” to a multifunctional service at the end of 2020 and began its “trial” on users in the United States. Now Google has warned that in April the old Google Pay app will lose much of its functionality.

The web version, as well as versions for Android and iOS, from April 5, 2021, will lose the ability to send and receive money transfers. Google started sending out alerts to users about this.
The remaining funds in your Google Pay account will be available through the new app. You can also manually transfer money to the user’s bank account using Google support.
Additionally, older Google Pay apps will no longer show recent user activity and transactions. The application will retain access to the digital wallet – bank cards, loyalty cards and travel cards.
