Last week, it was reported that Lenovo will compete with Xiaomi for the title of the company that launched the first flagship smartphone on the single-chip Snapdragon 898 platform. And now the characteristics of the Moto Edge X are presented on the Web – the very flagship that will fight Xiaomi 12.
Moto Edge X (aka Moto Edge 30 in Europe or XT2201 by catalog number) will receive a 6.67-inch OLED screen with Full HD + resolution, 144 Hz frame rate and HDR10 + support. The hardware platform of the device will be Snapdragon 898, software – Android 12. The amount of RAM will be 8-12 GB, built-in flash memory – 128 or 256 GB.
The main camera system will have three sensors. The main 50MP OmniVision OV50A with a wide-angle lens, a 50MP Samsung with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP OmniVision OV20B1B for scene depth analysis. Interestingly, the front camera is assigned a sensor with a resolution of as much as 60 megapixels.
The capacity of the battery will be 5000 mAh, it will support fast charging with a capacity of 68 W (full charging of the smartphone battery in 35 minutes). The Moto Edge X will not support wireless charging and it will not have a standard headphone jack, but it does mention IP52 dust and water protection and stereo speakers.
