Huawei has introduced the Watch GT3 smartwatch to the home market in China. This is one of the rare cases when devices in Europe came out earlier than in their homeland. But in China, prices are traditionally lower: the basic version of the Watch GT3 in 42 mm format is priced at $ 235.
Huawei Watch GT3 runs HarmonyOS and has a lot of features. For example, body temperature measurement, constant round-the-clock monitoring of heart rate and blood oxygenation are supported. Also, the watch is able to analyze the user’s sleep, monitor the menstrual cycle, assess the level of stress. A pulse oximeter is associated with the possibility of early detection of altitude sickness – before a person climbing the mountains suspects something is wrong.
Along with the watch, the updated Huawei Health app debuted, featuring the “Health Clover” section, created in collaboration with experts from the China Association for Preventive Medicine. The app aims to help users form healthy habits in three areas: exercise, sleep, and emotion.
Huawei Watch GT3 is equipped with a GPS receiver and an NFC module, protected from water (5ATM), and supports more than 100 training modes. The amount of RAM was 32 MB, flash memory – 4 GB. The watch allows you to make calls through a smartphone paired via Bluetooth, supports smartphone media player control, and allows you to control the camera from a distance.
The 46mm Huawei Watch GT3 is marketed as a men’s model and uses a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a 466 x 466 pixel resolution. The 42mm Watch GT3 is presented as a female model, and has a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen with the same resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The maximum autonomy of the older model is 14 days, the younger – 7 days.
Starting today, pre-orders for new items are accepted in China, real sales will start on November 26. The basic version of the 42mm model is priced at $ 235, and the 46mm model is priced at $ 250.
