After sharing with her followers that she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy, Olivia Munn 43 years old, thanked internet users for the support he has received.
“I am so grateful for all the love and support I have received regarding my diagnosis that I shared yesterday. Reading your stories and messages really meant a lot to me and I just wanted to express my gratitude for all of this,” said the actress in an Instagram post last Thursday (14).

The actress, known for her role in “X-Men”, made her diagnosis public on Wednesday (13). At the time, she shared a gallery of photos and videos and explained the situation in the caption of the publication.
“I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I hope that by sharing this, it helps others find comfort, inspiration and support on their own journey,” commented Olivia.
Munn also stated that in February 2023, in an attempt to be proactive about her health, she took a genetic test that checks for 90 different cancer-related genes.
“I tested negative for everyone, including BRCA [o gene relacionado ao câncer de mama mais conhecido]. My sister Sara had also tested negative,” she wrote.
“We called each other and celebrated on the phone. That same winter, I also had a regular mammogram. Two months later, I was diagnosed with breast cancer,” she added.
