Two cases of coronavirus were detected in the Cypriot mission participating in Olympic Games of Tokyo.
In a post on social media, the head of the Cypriot mission, Andreas Fylaktou, confirmed the information about the two cases emphasizing as broadcast by the Athenian News Agency that these two people are in good health.
“We kept it a secret for many different reasons. Besides, there was no case of dissemination because it was outside the Olympic Village and all our actions were in the interest of the whole mission. We have 2 positives in our mission. Management is done methodically and patiently. We are careful. We follow the measures. We take everything seriously. But we are waiting for the second samples for confirmation. There is no reason to worry. We continue to work with the same zeal even though here in Japan the day has 24 hours. “The two positives are very good in their health”, says Mr. Fylaktou in his post.
