Oman: Two dead in attack on a tanker linked to an Israeli tycoon

Two crew members, a British and a Romanian, were killed when one tanker oil refinery, managed by the Israeli company Zodiac Maritime, was attacked off the coast yesterday. Oman, became known today by the company.

The UKMTO said the tanker was sailing 152 nautical miles northeast of Oman’s Dukm port when it was attacked.

According to the Zodiac, the ship is now traveling under the control of its crew to a safe destination, accompanied by a US warship.

According to refinitiv, Mercer Street, a medium-sized tanker, is heading to the port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
