Omicron continues to operate in Europe – 178,250 new cases in Britain, 108,304 in Italy

THE Britain recorded 178.250 new cases of Covid-19 and 229 deaths of patients diagnosed positive in coronavirus up to 28 days earlier, according to official figures released Friday.

These numbers are slightly smaller than hers Thursday, at which time 231 deaths and 179,756 infections were announced, reports ΑΠΕ ΜΠΕ.
