Omicron mutation: Satisfied vaccinated, says first Italian tested positive

The last twenty-four hours, in Italy the coronavirus cases are 12,932 and 47 people lost their lives.

In total, 512,592 diagnostic tests were performed, 2.5% of which were positive. There are 638 patients in the intensive care units of the country, while there are 4,964 in the hospital wards.

In the meantime, the Italian manager who was positive in Omicron variant of the coronavirus after returning from a trip to Mozambique, he told Rai public radio:

“I am just happy to have been vaccinated, because the vaccine worked so well. “Both I and my family, from our eight-year-old to our eighty-one grandfather, all have only mild symptoms.”

The first Italian patient to be diagnosed with the new variant of Covid-19 is in isolation and, of course, under constant monitoring.

Finally, Ferdinando Rousseau, in charge of the hospitals in the city of Caserta, where the family lives, confirmed that the viral load of all its members is low and that, so far, there are no reasons for particular concern.
