On the occasion of the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week which kicks off on July 4th, Dior and Cheval Blanc have created an unprecedented spa aboard a boat, inspired by the famous Bains de La Samaritaine 19th century. An invitation to discover the art of well-being in a truly unique address, in the heart of Paris, a city so loved by Christian Dior.
A 2-hour cruise on the Seine, during which 60 minutes of face and body treatments will be available, for only five passengers, in its 4 beautiful suites.
The Bains de La Samaritaine were located on the Ponte-Neuf and were the most luxurious spas in the city. The elegant and splendid ship contained 100 bathtubs, arranged in small cubicles spread over two floors. You could go there for a simple bath, or for medicinal baths, steam baths, showers, and hydrotherapy.
Today, moored at Port Debilly, facing the Eiffel Tower, the Dior Spa Cheval Blanc Cruise envelops passengers in an environment of relaxation and luxury. On the upper deck there are rattan furniture and large umbrellas, while on the lower deck there are the four cabins (3 single and one double). Palm trees add a touch of the French Riviera.
The treatments
For this timeless spa, a very special treatment menu has been devised. During the boat trip, you can choose two facial treatments: the Dior Prestige Cruiseinspired by the fabulous regenerative powers of Granville Rose andOr de vie cruise, rich in the precious sap of Yquem Sap. Also scheduled two body treatments: relaxation or energizing. Each treatment, lasting one hour, was designed to realign body and mind, considering the physical, emotional and psychic dimension. Finally, for the more sporty, Dior has organized six special morning cruises with a yoga, pilates, thai chi and dance teacher. At the end of the treatment, passengers are invited to enter the interior lounge or reach the terrace on the upper deck to continue the cruise, sipping a cocktail while slowly flowing on the waters of the Seine, admiring the most beautiful points of Paris.
