the podcast On CNN Profit this week is different. The guest of the 11th episode of the CNN Brasil Soft project is Fabi Santina, digital influencer, writer, mother and wife of Leandro Munhós, presenter of the program.
Fabi started creating content for the internet under the influence of her sister, the also influencer Nina Secrets. At first it was a hobby, but the game soon became a job. There goes more than ten years and more than 1.5 million followers on Instagram.
In addition to being present in the digital world, Fabi is the author of three books: “Do you really believe in love at first sight?” “Do you really believe in second chances?” and “Life is not a straight line.” The first two are based on a true story and tell the romance between her and her husband – both became best sellers. Despite the good sales performance, the influencer reinforces that it is not easy to survive only from writing in our country.
“In Brazil, selling books is very difficult. People complain about the price, but when it comes to buying makeup at the same price, they don’t think it’s expensive. I don’t write books for the money, I write because I enjoy it,” she says. According to her, it is necessary to sell a lot of books to make the work profitable. “The author keeps 10% of the cover value of the physical book. So, if the book costs R$40, you get R$4”.
In the episode that airs this Thursday (16), in addition to answering questions from the public, Fabi and Leandro told how they organize their finances, where they invest the couple’s money, what they spend the most on and how they financially planned the arrival of the first daughter.

The program was quiet until they reached a controversial subject: the husband’s Beetle. Leandro is an amateur racing driver, and the Beetle is his fun companion. But the hobby doesn’t please her partner, who complains about the high monthly expenses with car maintenance, and still compares the item to her luxury bags.
“What’s the difference between my bags and the Beetle? With the bag you have an initial investment value and that’s it. There’s no maintenance, you don’t have to take it to the mechanic, change the wheel, give it a shine. And if I want to sell it a year from now, I can get a value a little lower than what I paid, some even value it”, he said.
In the influencer’s calculations, at the time of resale, the car will not be worth the initial investment plus the amount spent over time.
