On June 28 the presidential elections in Iran after Raishi's death

Iran's presidential election will be held on June 28, the country's state television announced tonight, following the death of Foreign Minister Ibrahim Raisi and his entourage in a helicopter crash on Sunday. “The election timetable was approved” at the meeting held by the heads of the judiciary, government and parliament, the television reported. “With the consent of the Guards Council, it has been decided that the 14th presidential election will be held on June 28,” he added. Raishi's funeral to begin Tuesday from Tabriz Funeral services for Iran's president, Ibrahim Raishi, who was killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday, will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, from the northwestern city of Tabriz, it was announced today the official news agency, “Irna”.
