On the British radio, 1985’s “Live Aid” with a 10 -hour special show revives

The Greatest Hits Radio will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Live Aid, with a 10 -hour special show that will revive the legendary 1985 concert. It will be broadcast on July 13, with listeners having the opportunity to relive all the emblematic moments from the historic Wembley Wembley. Hosted by British radio veteran and author, Simon Mayo, the unique “Live Aid Relived” tribute will include the authentic interpretations of Queen, David Bowie, Who and Paul McCartney, among others. It is noted that Live Aid was organized by musicians Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise money for Ethiopia. Martin Kemp, a member of the Spandau Ballet who participated in the concert, will share his experience, while the cast of the upcoming musical “Just for One Day” will add his own perspective.
