One billion dollars was raised on Monday 10/15 in the framework of the largest “investment round” for the World Health Organization to date, organized by the World Health Assembly, under the slogan “All for Health, Health for All”. Greece, represented by Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis, is contributing more than 20 million euros. WHO’s target for its next cycle, 2025-2028, is to save 40 million lives. In order to achieve its objective, the Agency needs adequate, stable and predictable funding.
